Hallo Everestland,
After some e-mails to Nepal ,we came in touch with everestland. Normaly we were supposed to go to Tibet (Mount Kailash) but the Chinese closed the borders and our “jeeptrekking” became a trekking on foot around Anapurna. The first trekking in Nepal for us.
It was the best trekking experience we had.
Christi and Kishor did everything to make our staying in Nepal an unforgettable experience.
We had the best lodges they could get during that time ( july 2008) and offcours the compagnie of Phurba and Christi gave us a warm feeling.
After the Anapurna trek we took the plaine to Lukla. A few days later we were in Tjengboche .The last morning before turning back we were lucky and we saw the whole surroundings with Everest, Ama Dablam aso.
We will be back (after the crisis,ha, ha).

Planning of our trek to Gokyo Ri/Kala Pathar/ Everest Base Camp began through email. Email responses were prompt and thorough, answereing all questions clearly and with detail.
Upon arriving, we were welcomed to Nepal by Kristy and our guide Harka. We were brought to a clean and safe hotel in Hotel Nature, Thamel and later got to know eachother at a traditional Nepali dinner. Harka assisted us in buying and renting some necessary gear and ensured what we had would be suitable for the trek.
Our guide (Harka) and porter (Mohan) were Fantastic!!! Harka was knowledgeable about the region and shared with us the buddhist culture. We felt safe under his guidance as he watched out for us, our porter, and at one point assisted another trekker who was in need of help. We also shared many laughs, chiang, and the most unbelievable scenery.
We truly had the time of our lives! We highly recommend Everestland to anyone looking to have a safe, enjoyable, and stress free journey.

Our four days Annapurna Mountain Trek ( Pokhara-Ladruk-Ghandruk-Syaulebazzar-Pokhara) was a marvelous trek in a beautiful set up with Gurung Villages, rice terraces, rhododendron forest and with those snow-capped mountains as the background! The Guides (Kishor) and porters were caring and humoristic – they were superb! We stayed in nice lodges, woke up to sunrise at snow capped mountain-nice dogs and playing children. This was the very best start of our trekking career, agrees everybody from 13 years to 80 years.
