This equipment check list suggests several items you might bring on a trek.
 
For all treks

Clothing

1. Down- or fibre-filled jacket for cold seasons (winter treks)
2. Pile jacket or jumper (sweater)
3. Hiking shorts (for men) or skirt
4. Waterproof jacket, poncho or umbrella
5. Hiking pants
6. T-shirts or blouses

Footwear

1. Trekking or running shoes
2. Camp shoes or thongs
3. Socks (polypropylene)

Your guide will carry a First Aid kit but we recommend the following supplies and medications that would be useful to carry as a personal supply while trekking or traveling in Nepal. You should also ensure you bring any other medications you might need such as prescription drugs.

1. Moleskin (or other skin-protection material to prevent blisters)
2. Anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen 400mg – 20 tablets)
3. Diphenhydraming (eg, Benadryl) 25mg or 50mg (10-20 tablets)
4. Loperamide (eg, lmodium-20 tablets for diarrhoea)
5. Potent pain killer, such as acetaminophen with hydrocodone, or acetaminophen with codeine (eg, Vicodin -20 tablets)
