This leisurely 4-day trek is perfect for families or as an introductory trek. It keeps to the lower altitudes (from 900 metres to 2,000 metres) and takes you past terraced hills, into picturesque villages, and through impressive forests of rhododendrons. The villages of the friendly Gurung people dot the landscape and provide comfortable lodges run by families, where we stop each night. The Gurung people have their own dialect, culture, costumes, and lifestyle. This trek is an excellent way to learn about them and their culture. The spectacular, snowcapped peaks of the Annapurna range provide a breathtaking backdrop for this adventure. Our porters carry all of the luggage, so all you need to carry is a day pack.

Day 02 - Kathmandu-Dhampus [1700m]
We start in Kathmandu and fly or drive to beautiful Pokhara on the shores of Lake Phewa, then down to Phedi, alongside the Seti River, where we start our trek. Our walk to Dhampus village takes us past terraced hillsides and then up to the hilltop village of Dhampus, where we’ll meet a mix of Gurung, Brahman, and Magar people. The distinctive peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail) and Annapurna South are fantastic from here. Overnight in Dhampus.

Today we trek to Ghandrung, one of the most popular destinations for trekkers in Nepal, known for its beautiful mountain views. Visible across the valley from Landruk, we’ll have to go down the hill, cross the river over a bridge, and then head back uphill to Ghandrung. Ghandrung is a lively village with some fine accommodations. Overnight in Ghandrung.
Day 05 - Ghandrung-Pokhara
